At Antica Quercia Verde you can experience a full immersion, “hands on”, cooking class discovering and preparing dishes that have made Tuscan cuisine so popular. Our cooking classes are the best way to learn how we use our amazing organic produce, our olive oil, vegetables from the garden, our saffron and seasonal wild herbs. Everything will be prepared in our Tuscan kitchen, using simple cooking tools, and most importantly preparing dishes that you will be able to cook in Cortona and at home. Next time you organise a dinner for your friends they will definitely be impressed. Later we celebrate your newly learnt artworks together with a feast to enjoy the dishes you have prepared. Cooking classes are available on Wednesdays (booking is required).

ACTIVITIES
At Antica Quercia Verde Cortona we organise a weekly visit of our farm where we can talk together about our oil and saffron production and more importantly give you insight into some of the local flora and fauna, showing you the herbs and seeds that we collect and how we use them. We can help you arrange many outdoor activities, with a qualified Personal Trainer to re-energise you during your holiday, or a qualified yoga teacher to help make your holiday even more relaxing. We can also help you organise a horse riding excursion in the hills that surround us.

A wonderful way to discover many more interesting aspects of Tuscany is to participate in one of the numerous typical country festivals and folkloristic events. These Festivals and events take place throughout the year, although they are more frequent from April to October. Believe us, going to one of the various food celebrations such as the Cinghiale, goose, or Pici festival and the lists goes on and on is a beautiful and characteristic experience giving you the opportunity to appreciate our local traditions.
