This track can be continued to the track CAI n° 50 that eventually becomes the track GEA n°50 (Grande Escursione Appenninica). Our farm stay is the perfect base for lovers of trekking and mountain biking; you will have the opportunity to enjoy many days of beautiful adventures and discoveries immersed in a pristine, natural landscape.
Some of the most exquisite natural hot springs and spas of Tuscany are a great day trip at easy reach and once again the choice is vast. In a day trip you could visit: Saturnia, experiencing either one of the many Hydro thermal spas or the more natural and characteristic thermal river that runs near the town centre; San Casciano dei Bagni, Bagno Vignoni, Rapolano Terme or the Terme di Petriolo. Although Italy and Cortona in particular are not fly fishing destinations, we thought that perhaps during one of your days travelling Tuscany and Umbria you might want to try these waters. Two of the best locations that Italy has to offer to lovers of the art of Fly Fishing are reachable from Antica Quercia Verde agriturismo in a fly fishing day trip. These locations are the amazing river Nera in Umbria, not too far from the city of Norcia and the TWT (Tail Water Tevere) in Tuscany between Sansepolcro and Anghiari.
